Baptisms are a way to express commitment to Christian faith as an adult, if you weren’t baptised as a child; or to bring a young child to join the church and express your intention to raise them in the Christian faith. Baptisms take place within our Sunday services, and are normally booked several months in advance.
We also offer a Service of Thanksgiving, if you want to give thanks for the arrival of a new child, without making the promises of faith involved in a baptism.
(Baptism is the same as Christening, by the way, in case you were wondering!)
